  1. Windows 95 SLIP and Scripting support for use with Dial-Up Networking

  3. Use this software to add SLIP support so that Windows 95 Dial-Up 
  4. Networking clients can connect to any remote access server that 
  5. uses the SLIP standard, and to add Scripting support so that you
  6. can automate the process of connecting to an Internet access
  7. provider, online service, or remote computer.

  17. HOW TO INSTALL
  18. --------------
  19.  
  20. 1) Double-click the file DSCRPT.EXE. This will cause it to 
  21.    de-compress itself.

  24.     *    CAUTION!  Make sure that you are running this    *
  25.     *    .EXE file in an empty folder or on a blank       *
  26.     *    formatted diskette!                              *

  28.     *    DO NOT run this .EXE file in your \WINDOWS       *
  29.     *    or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM folder!                       *

  33. 2) Right-click the "RNAPLUS.INF" Setup Information File, and 
  34.    choose "Install" from the pop-up menu.  This will install 
  35.    the utility.
  36.  
  37. 3) Once you have installed this utility, you can delete the files 
  38.    from the folder that DSCRPT.EXE was run.
  39.  
  40. 4) If you need to uninstall this utility, open the Control Panel, 
  41.    and double-click "Add/Remove Software."

  46. To install SLIP and Scripting support using setup scripts, first use
  47. INF Installer in the ADMIN\NETTOOLS\NETSETUP folder on the Windows 95
  48. CD-ROM to install the SLIP and scripting files with the Windows 95 
  49. source files on the network.

  54. For more information about Scripting support and Dial-Up Networking,
  55. install the software as described above, then start the Dial-Up
  56. Scripting Tool (from the Accessories folder under Programs on
  57. the Start menu), and click Help.
